This was my first trip to Boracay. And it’s all for free.
No, it’s not a raffle prize. I didn’t win it anywhere.
It’s our Company outing.
I got to our Makati around 7:45 AM on Saturday, 05 April 2008. From there, I, along with some other officemantes, would take the chartered bus to the Domestic Airport to catch the 10:00 AM Seair (South East Asian Airlines) flight (DG217) to Caticlan enroute to Boracay. (We were informed earlier in the week that our flight would be delayed from its original departure time of 9:30 AM.)
We got to the airport around 8:30 AM and proceeded to check in our luggage. We overheard over the public address system that the earlier Seair flight, carrying 20+ of our officemates, would be delayed by 30-45 minutes. That meant our flight being moved back to 10:30 AM.
